I have this fun little activity for sight words to share with you, Window Words. It's a pretty simple concept and so easy to set up.
1. Grab some washi tape and make a box on a window or on a door it really doesn't matter.
3. When children arrive they read the word and then write the word, once and once only within the washi tape box. Boom, done!
4. If you have my pack you may also like to add the worksheet
it reinforces the activity with tracing, boxing the word, rainbow writing and writing the word.
Most importantly I do not mark these no, no, no - I ain't got no time for that, the children know this the parents know this and that is that! You can choose to make these into a book or just throw them all on a table with pencils in the morning and that is that.
There is something just a little bit naughty that the kids love about writing on the window.
