An Olympic Writing Freebie.

This is a quick wee post as I have been flat out getting back into the swing of things since being very lazy in the school holidays - but hey sometimes you need to relax.  The snow finally came a little bit late but better late then never.  Secretly just between you and me I kinda didn't mind because sometimes that racing up the mountain early in the morning when I really should be sleeping in - because it is holidays - and squeezing ones foot in to hard stiff boots everyday is just really not a holiday.  Whereas when there is little snow and really all one can do is sit in front of fires drinking fine wines, enjoying scrumptious food and doing very little is well pretty perfect. 

Anyhow we here in NZ have just begun term 3 - a super busy term I always think.  And as the Olympics (do we capitalize it? I really am not sure) are looming near I have been wracking my brain for some ideas for my little ones so I put together these 2 little writing ideas above.  

We will also explore Brazil a little bit, find Brazil on our world map, colour their flag which I grabbed a template from on pinterest and investigate their very interesting array of animals.  I mean honestly who can't resist a sloth.  We will probably do a mini class olympics and follow the medal count and our athletes and somehow my wee post has become longer then planned so HERE is the link to my Olympics Writing Freebie.
